The last week is not for learning new topics from scratch. It is for tightening what you already know and removing avoidable risks.
The checklist
- Confirm the schedule. Check dates, timings and the exam centre on the official notice.
- List weak units. One line per unit you still find shaky. Aim to cover each at least once.
- Revise from summaries. Use short notes, tables and diagrams you made yourself.
- Practise recall. Close the notes and write down key points, definitions and examples from memory.
- Solve past questions. Time yourself on at least one paper per subject.
- Prepare your kit. Admit card, ID, pens and anything else the instructions require, ready the night before.
- Protect your sleep. A rested mind recalls more than a tired one with an extra hour of reading.
On the day
Skim the paper first and mark the questions you are sure about. Start with those. It builds momentum and saves time for the harder ones. If a question stumps you, move on and return to it later.
After the exam
Do not replay every answer. Note anything useful for the next paper, then reset. The next subject is the only one you can still influence.
